Movies are shown a giant screen at Mercerdale Park. The 2009 schedule includes Hotel for Dogs and Bolt. Families are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and flashlights to these showings. Concessions will be sold on-site.
West Seattle: Movies on the Wall
Check out West Seattle's list of Movies on the Wall showings for Summer 2009. Movies screen in the courtyard between Dr. Wolff & Hotwire Coffee. Courtyard opens at 6pm, with movie start at dusk. Showings are rain or shine, with rain screenings held at the West Seattle Community Center.

Redhook: Moonlight Cinema
Head out to Redhook Brewery in Woodinville for Redhook Moonlight Cinema. The 2009 series includes Summer favorites, National Lampoon's Vacation, Jaws, and new titles like Sex and the City and Superbad.

Fremont Outdoor Movies
Fremont Outdoor Movies 2009 schedule. Bring your own low-backed chair to this showing. Movies are free, but there's a suggested donation of $5. Don't miss these titles, they've got Shaun of the Dead, Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, and cap off the summer with Animal House.

Bellevue: Outdoor Summer Movies in the Park
Enjoy movies under the stars at Bellevue Outdoor Movies in the Park. 2009 listings include Hotel for Dogs, The Express, and more. Movies at this venue are family friendly with nothing over a PG rating. Films start between 8:30p.m. and 9p.m. Each movie will be part of a themed evening for charity.

Movies at Marymoor Park
Visit Marymoor Park on Wednesdays, July 29 through August 19, located at McNair Field, 6064 W. Lake Sammamish Parkway N.E., Redmond. Films start at dusk, concessions available, admission is free, but donations are accepted.

Mercer Island: Outdoor Movies

Brier Outdoor Cinema
Grab a lawn chair set up in the Brier Pizza and Family Restaurant parking lot located at 23631 Brier Road. Film begins at sunset and admission is free.

Carillon Point Outdoor Movie Nights
Come to the plaza of Carillon Point overlooking Lake Washington, 4100 Carillon Point Road, Kirkland every Saturday from July 18 to August 22 to see a different movie each week.

Edmonds Outdoor Movie Night
Enjoy outdoor movies at Frances Anderson Center, 700 Main St., Edmonds on Fridays, July 31 and August 7. Showing starts at dusk and admission is free.

Tacoma: Summer Sound and Cinema
Summer movies and music, all in one show. Make your way out to these parks around Tacoma to enjoy the summer movie and music series. Check out the August 22nd showing, there should be a great turnout for teen movie Twilight.

Everett Cinema under the Stars
Join free summer fun at Everett's outdoor movie series! Enjoy a selection of recent hits and family-friendly classics in the open air. Bring your blankets and pillows along.

Seattle Center: Movies at the Mural
Enjoy free movies under the needle on the Mural lawn. Seattle Center recommends low-back chairs, or blankets for seating. Movies start at dusk, around 9p.m. and if you're looking for some pre-show entertainment the Center House Bistro has a daily happy hour and full service bar. Get full 2009 schedule here.

Kent Summer Nights and the Silver Screen
Head to Town Square Plaza, Second Avenue and Harrison Street in Kent on Fridays from August 7 - 21. Admission is free but donations are appreciated.

Auburn Summer Sounds & Outdoor Cinema
Enjoy a summer evening with some music and a movie. Enjoy the joint summer concert and movie series at various area parks. Locations vary in Auburn so make sure you show up at the right park.

Moonlight Movies at Liberty Park
Come to Bronson Way North and Houser Way North, Renton on Fridays from July 10 through August 7. Films start at dusk and admission is free.

Three Dollar Bill Outdoor Cinema
Come to the southeast corner of Capitol Hill's Cal Anderson Park, 1635 11th Ave., Seattle on Fridays, July 17, 31 and August 21. Films begin at sunset and admission is free.

Tukwila Summer Outdoor Cinema
Head to the Tukwila Community Center located at 12424 42nd Ave. S., Tukwila on Wednesdays and Fridays July 22 through August 7. Doors open 7:30 p.m. and films begin at dusk, admission is free.

University Village Reel Summer Night
Go to U-Village on Wednesday, Aug. 26, in the parking lot near the 25th Avenue Northeast entrance, north of Northeast 45th Street, Seattle to see this classic movie. Pre-movie activities begin at 7 p.m. and admission is free.
