The Obama Cult Continues

Dori writes...

How can any reasonable, rational person be comfortable with this news story? In Chicago, elementary public school students were recruited by the principal and an artist to be part of a 150-foot portrait of Barack Obama.

I will repeat here what I've said a million times on the air - children should be respectful toward government, but should also have a healthy dose of skepticism of that institution and of politicians. Teaching children to worship government is a way to enslave their minds. And it should not be tolerated in our public schools. But what else would you expect from government-run institutions?
Here's a test for all of my liberal readers: Would you be comfortable with public school children being used to present a glowing, 150-foot portrait of George W Bush? If you answered "no" but you're fine with the Obama art, you're a hypocrite.
If you answered "yes", then you're a liar - because I know no liberal would tolerate such "art". We'll explore more on Monday's show.

  • All hail the worship of the new messiah. Bears a similar resemblance to the worship of North Korean schoolchildren and the "Dear Leader."

    Schools
School building names and graphics, should be about local people or important people from the past. Graphics can depict the name of the school team. Maybe schools should sell their souls to corporate America for naming rights. Or just after current politicians. Which is about the same thing.

    And if it were Kennedy?
Nobody wants to see a 150 ft portrait of Bush, the murderer of Americans and Iraqi's. It depends on who the President is whether I'd want to see the picture or not. The public schools used to teach something called, "Civics". Maybe this is a refurbishment of old values.

    A correction for Dori
Dori said: "Teaching children to worship government is a way to enslave their minds." Teaching children to "worship" anything in public schools is unconstitutional. I don't think anything was being taught here... except Peruvian art??? What the report video points out to me is that a) these kids volunteered to do this- no one was forced to do it and b) there was obviously some kind of "Artist in Residence" program going on with Mr. Daniel Dancer there.

    Our Savior
I saved those video clips from a few months back of those poor, glassy eyed little children singing their insipid little song to Dear Leader, about how "We're gonna bring happiness, and Obama's gonna lead em", also of those goose stepping adolecents reciting how Obama is the reason they are going to do great things. As the most inexperienced, unaccomplished, unqualified bozo in our history--a product of the most corrupt criminal political machine in America--takes office and applies his "remedies", as the resulting inflation and unemployment spin out of control, the slavering "press" can be counted on to circle the wagons around their darling boy. No criticism allowed. Any criticism, no matter how true, will be called "racism". Media outlets that might be critical will be shut down, and that will be called "fairness". Uncle Adolph would love that. As he dismantles every safeguard the Bush administration erected to keep us safe, and we once again becomem targets of terrorist attacks, we will be treated to images of our shining messiah, towering above us, leading the way, and the catastrophe all around us will be blamed on-------------Bush. America is in a death spiral, and God help us all. MildBill Democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy that did not commit suicide. Bow down to....
Come on Dori, you and most any radio talk show host would get drunk with power if you got this kind of adulation. You'd love it. Admit it, if the Franklin Mint came out with a Bob Barr commemoritive plate, you'd buy it in a heartbeat..
