Which budget are you going to compare this one with Dave?
Let's see there is the Governors Budget, the House Democrats Budget, The Senate Democrats Budget. Three different Budgets, raising three different amounts. Now the Republicans in the house have proposed a budget. Do we get to pick one, or some negotiated hybrid to compare it to head to head? It's possible the Democrat hybrid could be so bad, it will make the Republican solution look good. Kessler was on your Station yesterday and announced "We have an 807 million dollar tax increase package, but we don't have any details on where the taxes would actually be raised." Is that a serious proposal? Really Dave?

    Reasonable
I worked for Rep. Alexander when he was an assistant director at the old Department of Fisheries. This is a man who has a tremendous amount of experience actually working in state government as opposed to most of our elected officials who haven't a clue how things actually work. Rep. Alexander puts it very well - the budgets released yesterday are unsustainable, and are only deferring (and exacerbating) the problem until next Session - after the elections. It is time to end the rule of the Democrats in this state! Look what they have done to us over the years, and what they are doing to our future. I am disgusted with our liar Governor and the disgraceful behavior of the Democrats in destroying this once great state's economy.

    "Un-intended Consequences"
Now why doesn't Dave ask that hard question to the Progressives in Olympia who want to raise taxes. What would be some consequences of some of those tax exemptions the Progressives are considering. Here is one. The tax will simply be passed onto the consumer. It will not hurt the corporation one bit. Like the red-light cameras. All these tax increases will do is put less money into the economy.
