Seahawks Defensive Lineman Cory Redding loves the 12th Man

Cory Redding had not won a meaningful game in the NFL since December of 2007...until last Sunday when the Seahawks defeated the Rams 28-0 at Qwest Field. Redding praised the 12th Man for helping in the victory, talked about some keys this week against the Niners, and more.

Home field advantage in the NFL does not seem the same these days (except for a few stadiums around the league). Qwest Field certainly qualifies, and Cory Redding is taking notice.

It is well known Cory's last team, the Detroit Lions, did not win a single game last year. However, few people know how big of an impact that had on Redding's desire to continue playing football.

One good thing that came from Seattle's 4-12 season last year was being in place to draft LB Aaron Curry with the 4th overall pick in the 2009 NFL Draft. The referees consistently warned Coach Mora to calm down Curry during the Rams game, but Cory feels that is not necessary.
