Wetteland Safe at Home

Comments   |   Print this   |   E-mail this

John Wetteland and the Mariners have released statements regarding his hospitalization earlier today. They are quite different from what was reported in the Dallas press.

Wetteland from his home this eveneing in Argyle, TX, "Thank you for your concerns. My wife and I are very appreciative of the over and above care of our local officers and paramedics. The circumstances leading to my elevated blood pressure and heart rate have been addressed. I am currently resting safely at home."

Mariners Executive Vice President & General Manager Jack Zduriencik, "We were relieved once we heard the details from John and Michelle and that John is safe at home and in good health. Contrary to earlier news reports, the reason John was hospitalized was because of an extremely high heart rate. We have let them know that the Mariners will do whatever we can to assist them."

    Take care, Mr Wetteland
So glad to hear he's OK. I just got back from a night out with friends and family to several conflicting reports of what may or may not have happened. Scary, to say the least...

    Oh, this is just great
First, the county increases the setbacks from rivers and streams, even if they are intermittent. Then they define a Wetteland based on the presence of plants that require high water content so as to prohibit you from building on a bulk of your land. Now they are hospitalizing Wettelands?!

    News Reports
sometimes I wonder how information gets reported these days; a lot of news is preliminary and probably shouldn't get out but it does. Thank you Shannon for keeping us up to date with what was really happening; although we probably won't know the details (and that is ok with me as it is their own business), but I do hope John is ok. He has been a great addition to the Mariner family. Let's hope his health is ok.
