This guy should not be proud of his invention [sweet video]

Producer Jake says: I'm no scientist but...isn't the treadmill a bit superfluous at this point? My favorite part is when the two men run together...if I drove past them and saw that, not sure what I would do.

And for the people who run on treadmills...WHAT'S THE MATTER WITH YOU!!!! It's like watching a dirty movie...it may satisfy the need but it's not as good as the real thing. Get out there and run in the real world, people. Jogging in the snow this morning reminded me of that scene in "Rocky IV" when Rocky out-ran the KGB guys following him. Unless you attached an ice-maker to your treadmill, try to match that experience on your infernal machines, ya yuppie twerps!

    Treadmills
I have never understood them. Why do people pay gyms for the privledge of driving to them and then going inside and walking in place? Why not just go outside and walk for free?

This should sell great in San Francisco....
Not only the "dual action" on the treadmill itself, but the challenge of going up a steep hill with that...Where do I send the money to invest!!

    Hey, I just rewatched it...
and I think they could fit 3 guys on that if they really tried...

Went off on a tangent and forgot to comment on the invention..
While I'm impressed by the engineering, I have to ask WHY? And the ratio of physical effort to road speed seems a little poor. Perhaps the gearing could be tweaked? Final question: Is this imbecile retaled to the guy who used weather balloons and a bb gun to fly his lawn chair?
  • Snout wrote...
Man, my spelling is horrible today...worse than usual.
To paraphrase an old Sting song...."I'm an imbecile. I'm a legal imbecile. I'm an imbecile from New York."....There I've done my blog pennance, are you satisfied? Can we move on now and pretend I typed "related" properly?

    Still in development:
I have invented a Personal Methane Reclamation machine. It is still in in the R & D phase of today. The Name is The 'Rip & Go': Break wind for energy independence!

    great idea!
no joke, i get super bored exercising and this looks kind of fun. and look how fast you go w/ two.

    Louis, God love ya....but
your methane reclamation machine idea conjured a mental image more disturbing than the naked Burger King guy pic that Jake posted! I can only guess that it involes some roller blades, a can of Chili and a dependable Zippo lighter???
