WEST COLUMBIA, W.Va. (AP) - A woman serving in prison for her role in the 2007 kidnapping and torture of a black woman in West Virginia says the victim wasn't telling the truth when she denied this week that the attack occurred.

Frankie Brewster told WCHS-TV in Charleston on Friday that she and six others committed a multitude of crimes against Megan Williams, who has since moved to Ohio.

Brewster also says in the prison interview that she and the others participated in the attack. All pleaded guilty and six were sentenced to prison.

On Wednesday, a lawyer representing Williams says she now is recanting her story and fabricated the attack.

While all seven people convicted in the case are white, Brewster says race wasn't a factor.

What? The "Reverend" Al Sharpton backed another lying victim? Say it ain't so...
Well, it looks like an actual assault took place this time. So, as usual, the Reverend Al will do the most bizzarre thing possible, he'll apologize. With Tawana Brawley the whole thing was a hoax, but Reverend Al stands by his actions. In this case there really was an assault, but she drank human urine instead of eating animal feces, so the Reverend Al asks for a review... you know, just in case anyone should be released... ?!?!?!?
