Free grub for service members on Veteran's Day
MyNorthwest.com
Veterans cancel your lunch plans Wednesday. Many area businesses are offering free food to active and past members of the military.
Seattle-based Dick's Drive-In restaurants are rewarding service members with a free cheeseburger offer.
Veterans can get a free cheeseburger after presenting military ID at any of the five area Dick's locations at Capitol Hill, Holman Road, Lake City, Queen Anne or Wallingford.
Want a side for that burger? Head over to Outback Steakhouse, they're offering a free Bloomin' Onion for military men and women.
Still not full? Try the Three-Cheese Chicken Penne, or a Fire Pit Bacon Burger, as Applebee's offers up select entree items for free in appreciation of military service.
And for Veterans with a sweet tooth, cap off the day with dessert at Krispy Kreme Doughnuts. They'll hand over a free doughnut, any flavor, to any present or past member of the military.
