Seattle police are looking for a man suspected of robbing a woman at gunpoint on Capitol Hill Tuesday night.

The woman told police the man approached her at the 1800 block of E Republican Street with what appeared to be a hand gun and then demanded money.

The victim gave in, but then he struck her in the face and ran away. Her injuries were minor and she declined medical help.

Officers attempted to track down the suspect with K9, but they weren't able to find him.

    Attention Seattle crime victims....
If you see suspicious activity and feel you may be robbed at gunpoint, run to the nearest park. They are now gun free zones and your attacker will not be able to legally follow you into the park.
