Elliott Bay Books could be forced to move
KIRO Radio
Seattle's best-known bookstore could be on the move.
The owner of Elliott Bay Books says a financial squeeze could force him to look to move, possibly to Ballard or Capitol Hill.
Customers are hoping it stays. "Yeah, I'd hate to see it go. I understand the economics of it, but it's a good place," said one shopper.
Elliott Bay Books has been in the same location at First and Main for 36 years.
