Man robs Capitol Hill coffee shop
Police are looking for a man suspected of robbing a coffee shop on Capitol Hill Monday night.
The man asked the clerk in the 1400 block of E. Pine St. for a brownie. When she returned with the treat, he handed her a note. The suspect took off on E. Pine St. after the clerk gave him cash from the till.
Officers responding to the call spotted the suspect in the 1600 block of 15 Ave. He was changing clothes behind a car. He took off when the officers turned around to contact him. The vehicle was impounded it to the processing room.
The suspect is described as a black male, 6 feet tall, approximately 230 pounds, and bald head.
