5 home invasion robbers arrested in Shoreline
Police in Shoreline arrested five home invasion robbery suspects early Sunday morning.
When police arrived to a man's home in the 2100 block of NE 88th St. in Seattle, he was screaming for help, saying he was robbed. He had also been pistol-whipped. The man gave police a description of the getaway car and the suspects.
A short time later, police spotted the car near Greenwood Ave. North and N 145th St. The officer followed the car to an apartment complex in Shoreline. Three suspects took off on foot, the driver stayed with the car, and another suspect stuck around.
With help from the King County Sheriff's Guardian One helicopter and K-9 units, police arrested all five suspects and recovered two handguns and the victim's stolen property.
