Police arrested a 9-year-old boy in Aberdeen for investigation of assault and malicious mischief.

Police told KBKW the boy became hostile Wednesday night after seeing his mother with her boyfriend and hit her with a baseball bat.

Responding officers threatened him with a stun gun to force him to drop the bat. He's held in Aberdeen's Juvenile Detention Center.

Capt. John Green says the same boy had a run-in with officers earlier this summer when he attempted to chase his mother with a knife.

    Hmmm.....
Maybe they should jail the mother and the birth father...But I'm sure the parents aren't the reason this child is acting like this.

    Thank you self-centered parents
for damning this child to a lifetime of poverty and crime. I wish more parents would get wake up calls when they destroy their childrens family.

    Hostile Behavior
Hmmm... The psychology of such situations is interesting. Often times, lurking just below the surface of hostility toward a parent, care provider, older or younger siblings, is the issue of unwanted sexual activity. Someone needs to examine the possibility of inappropriate sexual contact, (sex abuse); not necessarily by family members, but quite possibly by another “older boy,” maybe of high school age, in the neighborhood. The young one will deny everything. Get the young one to a qualified counselor who has the training and skills to search and find the underlying cause of the hostility; and, sooner rather than later.

Save him while there is still a chance!
What this kid needs and probably isn't getting is just someone to love him and value him in a healthy manner. Unless someone steps in and helps rescue this boy, he will likely wind up in prison as an adult. Hope is never lost, though.

    What a piece of S**hit.
A lot of kids today are a waste of human flesh and most of the behavior comes from a lack of Parenting.

    Think before you speak
Might it be that this child has mental issues? You are all way too quick to judge.
