Internet addict program opens in Fall City
KIRO Radio
A program for internet addicts, the first of its kind in the US, is now open in Washington.
Dr. Hilarie Cash runs "ReStart Internet Addiction Recovery" in Fall City developed to rehabilitate the person who spends so much time online, they can't function in the real world.
"They're going to go through withdrawal and after the withdrawal their brain can begin re-wiring itself."
Cash says the 45 day rewiring program is not anti-technology, but rather uses therapy to help patients find balance with life skills and technology.
