This Is Why We Love Mike Pesca.

Because he tweets out little gems like this:

More Hard Hitting MJ Coverage From CNN.

I sort of saw this out of the corner of my eye last night (on the muted in-studio TV) but I think I thought I was just imaging it.

Make sure to stick around until the end of the piece, when John Zarella (the reporter) somehow (incredibly) manages to make this inherently ridiculous story even more silly.

"Jackson never visited Bubbles, but if he did the chimp probably would have recognized him, maybe they would have even moonwalked together"

Really? Do you think that's how it would have gone down? A 400 pound chimp, in a cage, who never knew how to moonwalk (an incredibly hard dance move by the way) in the first place would have celebrated the return of his now borderline albino former african-american owner by spontaneously moonwalking with him in unison? Seriously John Zarella? You wrote that line? Seriously John Zarella's editor? You signed off on that? Seriously Anderson Cooper? You let that piece stink up your show?

Oh, and, I'm just going to say it, Bubbles has really let himself go. I mean, somebody's gotta say it. I know it's what we're all thinking.

I'm scared just looking at the photo

You could not pay me to go out on the Sears Tower Ledge

sears ledge

Watching the movie "Man on Wire" gave me "falling nightmares" that whole night (you know when you wake up suddenly in the middle of what feels like a freefall?)

Ghost Bar (on top of The Palm in Las Vegas) has a small square of see-through floor you can walk over. I always avoid it like the plague.

This glass box seems crazy. But apparently, even kids love it!

Tonight on TBTL... Listener Jason Tries To Reclaims His Youth By Learning To Dunk:

I actually had this same fantasy back when I lived in LA, and I talked to a guy who actually trains aging fellows how to get in touch with their inner Dr. Dunkenstein (apparently this is a fairly common dream among dudes approaching 30). Anyway, this trainer's advice to me (after asking my height and weight) was to start by losing 20 pounds. In fact, it seemed that the real secret was simply getting as skinny as I used to be in high school (the last time I could kind of very softly, dunk a basketball).

Here's the website Jason set up to document his journey.

I Knew That MJ Dance Lean Was Too Beautiful To Live.

On the list of alleged revelations concerning Michael Jackson (his kids aren't really his, he was secretly bald, and anorexic, he (seriously!) lip-synched a concert in 1983. ) this one is probably the most heartbreaking for me to read...

That awesome lean he and his dancers do it the Smooth Criminal Video? Totally fake.

Smooth Criminal Secrets Revealed!

In a famous scene from Michael Jackson's Smooth Criminal music video, the pop singer and his dancers leaned forward at a 45-degree angle - much to the confusion of all of us watching.

Well, now the cat is out of the bag!!!

Wires and harnesses were used during the filming of the video, but when performing live they had assistance from special shoes.

The shoes, which were patented in 1993, contain anklets which give the footwear the rigidity of ski boots along with ability to latch on to pegs that rise out of the floor, thereby allowing Jackson to defy gravity.

Thanks to my darling daughter Addie for sending this to me, and crushing my dreams.

From the MAFM/WAFV files

This video has been sent to me so many times, I can only assume that:

a) it makes people laugh
b) it resonates with many of you
c) her babbling is oddly reminiscent of mine

oh goodness (chuckle chuckle) women and men are different (almost as if from different planets)
